Introducing Shepparton Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (MUCC)
In Victoria our hospitals have never been busier and the MUCC will assist in taking pressure off the hospital system.
Shepparton Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) provides care for urgent but non-life threatening conditions.
GPs and nurses will assess you when you arrive. We will ensure you receive immediate care.
If you need specialist attention we will help you get to a nearby emergency department.
You do not need an appointment to be treated in a UCC and services are free for everyone, with or without a Medicare card.
Urgent Care Clinics are funded by the Victorian Government. Shepparton UCC is part of the Medicare Urgent Care Clinic network.

- After you’ve given your details to our reception staff, you’ll be asked to wait in the waiting room.
- People with the most urgent health care needs will be seen first.
- Our doctors and nurses will decide who needs to be seen fastest. This means you might have to wait a little while.
- This can be a very busy place. If your situation isn’t urgent, we might refer you to your GP or medical centre.
